We are stardust matter that has been transformed within the universe into beings rebuilt from the sky crashing down to earth matter re-engineered by generations to become us we learned to seek grow, guide, fly to speak, read, write we were given life we knew instinctively how to survive but we chose to thrive we came from this earth we need to breathe we were given life and look at all we have seen all we have achieved to those we love and those we distaste we are all children of the same matter and all matter in the milky way
Alexandra Mireanu self-published her poetry collection Letters to Myself in 2021. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Creative Writing at the University of Toronto, where she participates in open mics and a creative non-fiction writing group. Alexandra enjoys supporting writers through poetry editing and self-publishing. She is writing her debut memoir, and exploring avant-garde poetry for her next collection.
