Sundress Reading Series Presents
Allison Coffelt, Jenny Sadre-Orafai, Sonja Livingston, and Danny Caine
Sundress Academy for the Arts is pleased to welcome Allison Coffelt, Jenny Sadre-Orafai, Sonja Livingston, and Danny Caine for the March installment of our reading series. The reading will take place 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Hexagon Brewing Co., located at 1002 Dutch Valley Dr STE 101, Knoxville, TN 37918. The Sundress Reading Series is free and open to the public.
Allison Coffelt lives and writes in Columbia, Mo. Her work has appeared in and won awards from the Los Angeles Review of Books, Hippocampus, Oxford Public Health Magazine, the Crab Orchard Review, and elsewhere. Maps Are Lines We Draw: A Road Trip Through Haiti is her first book. She currently works as the director of education and outreach for the annual True/False Film Fest and hosts the True/False podcast.
Jenny Sadre-Orafai is the author of Malak and Paper, Cotton, Leather. Recent poetry appears in Cream City Review, Ninth Letter, The Cortland Review, and Hotel Amerika. Recent prose appears in Fourteen Hills and The Collagist. She is co-founding editor of Josephine Quarterly and Associate Professor of English at Kennesaw State University.
Danny Caine is the author of Continental Breakfast (Mason Jar Press, 2019) and the chapbook Uncle Harold’s Maxwell House Haggadah (Etchings Press, 2017). His poetry has appeared in DIAGRAM, Hobart, Barrelhouse, and New Ohio Review, among other places. He hails from Cleveland and lives in Lawrence, KS., where he owns the Raven Book Store.
The Sundress Reading Series is an award-winning literary reading series that is held monthly at 2 p.m. at Hexagon Brewing Co. just outside of downtown Knoxville.
