Sundress Reading Series Presents Kathy Fagan, Danielle Hanson, and Jennifer Jackson Berry

The Sundress Reading Series is excited to welcome Kathy Fagan, Danielle Hanson, and Jennifer Jackson Berry for the May installment of our reading series! The event will take place Sunday, May 7 from 2 to 4 PM at Bar Marley.

Kathy Fagan’s fifth book is Sycamore (Milkweed Editions, 2017). Her first collection, The Raft, won the National Poetry Series; her second, MOVING & ST RAGE, the Vassar Miller Poetry Prize. She has received fellowships from the NEA and Ohio Arts Council. Very recent work appears in The New Republic and Blackbird. Director of the Creative Writing Program at Ohio State, Fagan serves as Series Editor of the OSU Press/The Journal Wheeler Poetry Prize. Her website is http://www.kathyfagan.net

Danielle Hanson received her MFA from Arizona State University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is the author of Ambushing Water (Brick Road Poetry Press, 2017). Her work has appeared in over 50 journals and anthologies, including Hubbub, Iodine, Rosebud, Poet Lore, Asheville Poetry Review, and Blackbird. She is Poetry Editor for Doubleback Books. She has edited Loose Change Magazine and Hayden’s Ferry Review, worked for The Meacham Writers’ Conference, and been a resident at The Hambidge Center. Jennifer Jackson Berry is the author of The Feeder (YesYesBooks, 2016) and the chapbooks When I Was a Girl (Sundress Publications) and Nothing But Candy (Liquid Paper Press). Her poems have appeared in journals such as Poet Lore, Harpur Palate, and Booth, among others. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
