Jade Hurter lives in New Orleans with two cats and an ever-increasing assortment of plants. She received her MFA from the University of New Orleans, where she currently teaches first year composition. She was a finalist in the 2016 Tennessee Williams Poetry Competition, judged by Yusef Komunyakaa, and her work has appeared or is forthcoming in New South, Tinderbox, Passages North, The Columbia Poetry Review, and elsewhere. This is her first collection
Donna Vorreyer is the author of Every Love Story is an Apocalypse Story (Sundress Publications, 2016) and A House of Many Windows (Sundress Publications, 2013), as well as seven chapbooks, most recently Encantado, a collaboration with artist Matt Kish from Redbird Chapbooks. She works as a middle school teacher in the Chicago suburbs.
