Leah Browning is the author of three short nonfiction books for teens and pre-teens and five chapbooks.  Her most recent chapbook is Orchard City, a collection of short fiction published by Hyacinth Girl Press in 2017.  Browning’s fiction and poetry have appeared in The Threepenny Review, Valparaiso Fiction Review, Watershed Review, Superstition Review, Santa Ana River Review, The Homestead Review, Newfound, Coldnoon, Poetry South, Clementine Unbound, The Literary Review, The Stillwater Review, Glassworks Magazine, Mud Season Review, Bellows American Review, First Class Literary Magazine, Freshwater, Waypoints, The Saint Ann’s Review, Chagrin River Review, and elsewhere.  Her work has also appeared on materials from Broadsided Press and Poetry Jumps Off the Shelf, with audio and video recordings in The Poetry Storehouse, in The Wardrobe, and in anthologies including Myth+Magic from Sugared Water and Porkbelly Press, The Doll Collection from Terrapin Books, and Nothing to Declare: A Guide to the Flash Sequence from White Pine Press.  In addition to writing, Browning serves as editor of the Apple Valley Review.  Her website is located at www.leahbrowning.com.
