Laura Madeline Wiseman is the author of twelve collections of poetry, including the full-length books Queen of the Platform (Anaphora Literary Press, 2013) and Sprung (San Francisco Bay Press, 2012), the letterpress book Unclose the Door (Gold Quoin Press, 2012), and the recent chapbooks First Wife (Hyacinth Girl Press, 2013) and Stranger Still (Finishing Line Press, 2013). She is also the editor of Women Write Resistance: Poets Resist Gender Violence (Hyacinth Girl Press, 2013). She has a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.A. from The University of Arizona. Currently, she is a writer-in-residence at the Prairie Center for the Arts.

Sally Deskins is an artist, art writer, consultant, art model, mother, wife and art enthusiast. She holds a BA in Art from UN-Lincoln and MPA from UN-O. Heavily inspired by contemporary artist Wanda Ewing’s work challenging society’s definitions of femininity, Deskins’ art explores womanhood and motherhood in her life and others’. Her writing has been published locally and nationally. Her art has been shown and published nationally. She is founding editor of Les Femmes Folles. She has curated and produced many multi-media arts events. Her two Les Femme Folles anthologies of art, poetry and interview excerpts can be found on blurb.com.

This week’s Wardrobe Best Dressed was selected by T.A. Noonan. Noonan is the author of several books and chapbooks, most recently four sparks fall: a novella (Chicago Center for Literature and Photography, 2013) and Dress the Stars (Dusie Kollektiv, 2013). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in LIT, West Wind Review, Reunion: The Dallas Review, Hobart, Ninth Letter, specs, and more. A weightlifter, crafter, priestess, and all-around woman of action, she currently lives in Knoxville and serves as Associate Editor of Sundress Publications and Literary Arts Director for the Sundress Academy for the Arts.
